The beef market is becoming a luxury

With the average age of cow/calf producers being so high we will never see the beef cow herd at past years levels. We are just too old.

Are you kidding me? Someone in a different country who lives in a non rural area is on his way out and gets a totally different strain of a bird virus and dies. What the F is in American’s heads to affect fat cattle prices. Just like price of corn goes up and fat cattle that won’t eat any more corn yet the price of the steers sent to kill drops. Explain that?😖🤬🤬🤬

If anything the primal cuts are in more demand culturally, they are still a smokin deal when you can find a sale. I remember buyers were discriminating anything but the best cattle. If it had white anywhere but it's face you got docked and if you had a bad eye you just gave that one away. You could hear the gasps and sighs over the auctioneer. Those old guys sold out and retired, wont be back.

If we cook food to an internal temperature of 165F to avoid E. coli bacteria, and use the same meal prep to prevent E.coli transmission on surfaces, that should be enough to kill the virus since pasteurization uses a similar temperature, right?

Given Brad's long term bull thesis on cattle, would a long term bear thesis on corn and soybeans be the biggest threat to when the cattle market finally does fill up. Essentially corn and soybeans giving up acres to cattle over the next 2 years or so?

Just can't see how avian flu drove egg and poultry prices up, and is pushing down so hard on cattle. The argument that state to state movement of cattle may be halted doesn't hold water due to the fact that snow geese and blackbirds (carriers) travel from border to border twice a year.

Knowing the dmn government, probly don't want to by any flavored milk. That's not natural in color (white). They will likely let contaminanted milk be sold in chocolate' or other products. Like grade B' eggs. Are sold to manufacturing.
